As a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization (Fed Tax ID: 27-2785645), the Restorix Foundation secures and stewards charitable contributions and grants to support the Restorix Research Institute and similar organizations where the mission is to improve people’s lives by advancing scientific published research, community knowledge and education, and access to the latest hyperbaric oxygen medical practices and technology for those otherwise unable to afford access to this critical care.

The Restorix Research Institute is establishing itself as a leading research organization focused on advancing the uses of hyperbaric medicine beyond the 14 Medicare-approved indications. With the financial support of grants and generous donations provided by the Restorix Foundation, the Restorix Research Institute is seeking to prove or disprove the value of hyperbaric medicine through double-blind, peer-reviewed research focused in specific specialty areas beyond the 14 indications.
Using a “Centers of Excellence” approach, the Restorix Research Institute is tightly aligned with Restorix Health centers strategically located around the country. Each center is lead by a medical specialist who will organize and guide specialty area research studies focused on making breakthrough scientific discoveries through peer-reviewed research that focuses on Hyperbaric Medicine relevant to other treatments. For example, the Issaquah, Washington location is focused on Advance Wound Care research, and Infectious Diseases will be studied at the Restorix Health center in California. Other specialty research areas that will be studied include stroke, age-related macular degeneration and traumatic brain injuries.
